Every business has its identity and ownership checked (KYB) before it can trade — so the counterparty on the other side of a trade is who they say they are.
More than a password
Two-factor sign-in, per-device verification, and — for businesses on the API — scoped keys, signed requests and optional IP allow-lists.
Every trade is screened
We screen every trade for compliance the moment it happens, on- and off-chain. Anything unusual is paused for a person to review.
Every cedi & token accounted for
Every movement is recorded on both sides of a double-entry ledger, and the two sides always match. Your money is always in exactly one place.
Always-on settlement
Every cedi rail runs on more than one provider, switched automatically. One network having a bad day never becomes your outage.
Institutional custody
Each business gets its own deposit address; deposits confirm on-chain, then sweep into Cobo's institutional custody. Our master wallet is never shown.
Regulation as the standard.
Stablecoin and crypto services operate under authorisation by the Bank of Ghana and the Securities and Exchange Commission under the Virtual Asset Service Providers Act, 2025 (Act 1154).
